Warning: This dictionary does not have English-Albanian!
I did not realise until it arrived that it was only 'one-way' ie: from Albanian to English and not vice-versa.
This means it is of limited use to me and I will have to buy another.

comprehensive
excellent, outstanding, thorough, fabulous insights into albanian culture and thinking as well as language, useful verb tables, my albanian partner and our albanian friends have endless hours of fun looking up well-know phrases and sayings over coffee and cigarettes after a meal, a doorway into the uproariously entertaining albanian humour and character, get this book! worth ten stars

seriously useful
if you're serious about learning albanian, then this book is for you. if you're looking just to learn phrases and conversational stuff, you might be a bit overwhelmed by the vast amount of information but don't be put off by this. i think one of the main suprises for me was that the book offered translations of proverbs and colloquialisms which gives a real insight into culture. the definitions are clear and unambiguous, covering standard, non-standard, old, new and dialectical phrases and words. if you buy this dictionary, you need never buy another albanian dictionary and it would be an exceptional aid to any learning programme. definitely good value for money.
