Fantastic book. Great to read aloud
I bought this for my son after we got the Gruffalo and this book didn't dissapoint. I remember the first time I read it to him and he laughed out loud all the way through and I ended up having to read it about 5 times in a row and by the end I was exhausted at laughing at my son laughing. I now have to read it every night at bedtime. Its a great book to read aloud and and will be sure to become one of your kids favourite books. A great buy.

EXCELLENT
My daughter has loved this book from the day she got it at 18months. It is still a firm favourite and I never get tired of reading it. How she is talking she tells me what is coming before I turn the page and I awlays receive a big hug on the final page. I totaly recommend 5stars!

Enjoyable and meaningful
This is a lovely book which my 2 year old daughter really enjoys especially filling in the 'thats a ....' on each page. The simple repetative text and colourful pictures also makes the book suitable for my 11 month old. I also think this story has a lovely idea that although people may not look like their parents they are still a family. A lovely lesson in diversity.

This is such a good book
I first heard this story when my friend read it to her Son over and over again whilst we were on holiday together. I actually enjoyed listening to the story(LOL) and I never got bored of hearing it. The book is great and it rhymes really well. I have now bought this book for my son and I am sure he will love it. EDITED - I have now started reading this book to my Son and he does love it!
