Learning through fun
I bought this book for my son when he was four as he already loved the dr suess books. So glad I did as he knows so much about the body and that has really helped with his school work in year one when they cover the parts of the body.

Just right for a 4 year old
This is a great insight to the workings of the human body. My 4 year old has really engaged with the book and is now using correct terminology for the parts of the body. He loves the rhymes and readily guesses the rhyming words. I am now going to purchase more within the series.

The Cat can Teach
I bought this for my son after picking up a few others from the series at the bookstore, Suess Landing in the Islands of Adventure Florida. Amazon is the only place I've managed to find them in the UK. They are really good books. They're written in the familiar Cat in the Hat rhyming style, but really good for teaching youngsters about things - in this case how the human body works. I just hope Amazon can keep up with my son's demands

Stunning readability and information content
For a 41 page children's book, Inside your Outside gives a really good introduction to a massive range of subjects: bones, muscles, senses, the brain (including left and right side functions), digestion (my 3 year old was especially impressed by the balloon-shape of the bladder inside his body), muscles, near- and far-sightedness. Both my 3 and my 5 year old were completely absorbed, and the rhythm/rhyme are spot on.pOn the strength of that book, I've just gone back and ordered everything else Trish Rabe has written for this series.

Excellent for sparking a childs interest
If your child likes Cat in the hat, then these are excellent. My 4 year old reads these over and over again. He remembers so much of the detail and understand (and wants to know more and more) about how the body works.pOkay the words aren't quite as good as Dr Suess, but the author captures the interest and keeps the child hooked whilst teaching at the same time.
