Great Book
Excellent book, read it three times, cover to cover, explains in great detail about breeding, from the mating to the labour then to looking after the puppies, and many more helpful topics. Also tells you what other experiences professional breeders have undertaken and gives great advice on how to get the puppies loving homes.

Dont breed without it!

What a great book, Ive read it from cover to cover. Its handy to know statistical information about other breeders and their experiences too. Highly recommended!

An excellent and informative book
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, could not put it down. My first litter of German Shepherds born last week, this book was by my side the whole time. It already has wonderful reviews so what more can I say!

Everything you need to know - plus lots more!
We needed help in a hurry after discovering our dog was two weeks off whelping following an illicit liaison. Muriel P Lee is an experienced American dog breeder and her book proved invaluable, answering just about every question we'd come up with - and quite a few that had never crossed our minds. It's written in straightforward English (well, American-English), is intelligently illustrated and is as relevant if you're breeding for Crufts or, like us, heralding a new mix of Heinz 57. Don't whelp without it!
