Bone in da flesh!T.H.U.G.S. is the first of what has become a string of bone thug solo albums, this album is different then what bone thug fans are used to, on the 2 bone thug studio albums prior to this release flesh was the bone member on the least amount of tracks, he is the main man behind the mic of this album though, and it is about time that flesh gets his chance to shine, the prayer intro is a good intro for this album, then THUGS kicks in and is one of the best tracks using some lines from the prayer intro, reverend run sermon is a track that you must listen to, run preaches his thoughts about the way people think of rappers today, world so cruel with run is a tight track, it is a song with meaning that asks why are we living in a world so cruel? which is a good question, northcoast is the first track to feature a fellow bone member, layzie comes through and rips his verse and does his brother flesh justice on this song, nothin but da bone in me is my favorite track on this album, it is straight hardcore flesh n bone, just the way it should be, silence isn't over is a very tight track with a very dark beat, crazy by the flesh is another dark track, 51/50 is a very sick and sadistic skit and is the perfect setup for mystic spirits which is a song where flesh just rips every verse, very tight, coming 2 serve you is a track where flesh lets you know that he ain't one to take s--- from nobody, the killing skit is a 30 second skit which depicts a beat down and does a perfect job of introducing live soil which is the next song, it features afta maff who deliver some tight verses, sticks and stones where flesh lets the hatas know that you can't touch him no matter what you say it won't affect him, empty the clip has a tight beat and also features tight verses from afta maff but it is flesh who puts this song up on another level, no mercy is a song that is one of my least favorite from this album, it features fat joe and punisher(Big Pun), flesh has good flows and big pun does a good job with the hook, but i just wasn't feelin the beat, the last song is playa hater which is your basic song about playa hatas, but it is a very good song featuring krayzie and layzie, all 3 kick in on the chorus and flesh rips the first verse and layzie and krayzie follow with some tight verses of their own, a great album overall
