A good introduction to the 'Sister.
For those who want to get into Twisted Sister, this CD is a worthy purchase. It has the classics like "I Wanna Rock" and "We're Not Gonna Take It", but on the other hand it has slightly dodgy songs like "Be Chrool To Your Scuel".

Do you wanna rock??
It's a shame that Twisted Sister have never got the recognition they so clearly deserve. Here, the old late 70s and 80s band throw all their finest songs into a melting pot, which positively drips with unadulterated ROCK!pThe opening song, We're Not Gonna Take It is nervously catchy and a great start up to whats going to come. Sure, most of the songs are lyrical dross, but does that matter when you, are even more importantly, the Twisted Sister's are having so much fun?pI Wanna Rock is short, sweet and loud, and I Am is just a briliant little crooner. It's hard to critisize any of these songs as they are so over the top and filled with some real decent guitar thrashing.pHowever, the middle of the album gets a bit samey, with many of the songs not quite as well defined as the opening. But that doesn't last long, because there is a fine collection of live songs at the end. The quality of these live songs are not quite up to scratch as the studio tracks, and that could be due to the recording equipment, and not the band.pIn actual fact, the band rock live, and listening to these live tracks is a fair assumption of what to expect if you do see them live now that they've reformed. It's Only Rock N Roll is the real stand out. They do an excellent, wacky rendition of the Rolling Stones classic and the audience participation is a masterclass in how to get the crowd going.pFilled with wall to wall rock, plenty of SMF's (those who know the band know what I mean!) and a head banging follow along feeling, this is the ultimate in old style rock music!

Over the top and proud of it !!
A terrific collection of songs from one of the defining metal bands of the 80's. Whilst other bands were taking themselves a bit too seriously, Twisted Sister produced raw, energetic tracks that sounded just as dynamic on your stereo in your room as they did live on stage. I Wanna Rock, We're Not Gonna Take It and You Cant Stop Rock And Roll stand out as the 'anthems' - this is a must have CD for any metal child of the 80's

What a gift for all TS fans.
This album is a really nasty and a good example of TS history. How can the rockers of 80's foreget TS and it's concerts and songs . If you want to listen to "We are not gonna take" it to Under the blade and even TS's live performance this album is a gift for all TS fans .
