The Album That Finaly Got Her Recognised!!!
If you asked any Chely Wright fan which album is there fave,you can guarantee it's gonna be this one!! br /There's so many gems on this- her 3rd album. br /From the big hit Shut Up And Drive( a classic)to her other uptempos like the great Your Woman Misses Her Man,Just Another Heartache and the cracking Feelin' Single And Seein' Double.This will have you pressing the repeat button in no time! br /She also has some beautiful ballads like the title track,Before You Lie,10lb Heart and the gorgeous Emma Jean's Guitar. br /This is a fantastic album that you simply must have in your country collection...

Enjoyable listening
I heard Chely singing Shut Up and Drive on radio and thought it was lovely. I hadn't heard any of Chely's song's before and think she is a wonderful country and western singer. In the space of two weeks, I purchased three of her CDs which included The Metropolitan Hotel, Single white Female, and Let Me In. br /I don't usually rush out and buy CD's but I'm glad I bought these. All her songs are enjoyable and I would recommend anyone who enjoys C W music to see her sing on video as well on her web site at www.chely.com.(Quicktime required). I haven't been able to listen to her songs on Amazon's web site. br /Amazon delivered the CD's within a few days, although, I expected to receive them in about 10 days, as quoted on Amazon's web site. A really nice surprise.

Shut up and listen
This third album from Chely finally gained her much deserved recognition. The first single from the album (Shut up and drive) finds Chely advising a woman - possibly herself - to forget about the man she's just left. The second single (Just another heartache) is another excellent song, this time worrying about a new relationship. As far as I can tell, all the songs are originals except Feeling single seeing double, a song that Emmylou recorded for her Elite Hotel album back in the seventies.pGreat as those songs are, I think some songs here are even better. My favorite is Emma Jean's guitar, a song about a guitar bought in a pawnshop. Chely wonders about Emma Jean, not knowing who she was (except that was obviously a country singer) or what became of her but nevertheless drawing inspiration from her. Another great song (Your woman misses her man) mentions Hank Williams and includes at least two of his song titles (I saw the light, I can't help it if I'm still in love with you) within the lyrics - and there may be others. One other song particularly worth mentioning (I already do) is a reminder that if you fall in love with somebody, you'd better make sure they know it. Four other wonderful songs (the title track, Is it love yet, Before you lie, 10 lb heart) complete an excellent albumpThis album should appeal to fans of traditional country and contemporary country alike. If you enjoy any type of country music, give Chely a listen. All her albums are brilliant.

excellent!
This is one of those albums that is a must to play in a car and just listen and drive to the stories that unfold ahead of you.A prime example is the brilliant song shut up and drive which portrays great characters.To the foot tapping song feelin single seeing double.sheer excellence!
