Dated, and a tad indulgent......
Speaking as someone who was a fan back in the day (1986 for those who are counting), Control was a solid album, and a good one at that. This album is basically a retread of that, with extended tracks, and although they call them remixes, they are little more than the same song with a few bells and whistles thrown in. br /Looking at the album now, it has dated, and it is overindulgent. br /Skip this, and listen to the original - much better

Sounds dated, but ideal for hardcore fans
Following on from Janet's huge 'Control' album (1986), this remix album featured some of her biggest breakthrough hits in a new way, Including 'What Have You Done For Me Lately' 'Nasty' and U.S. #1 hit 'When I Think Of You'. The remixes are mostly just extended versions of the songs with extra beats and loops of some vocals in places. Not the sort of album for sitting down and listening to, unless you're already a fan. pBEST TRACKS: 'Control' video version, 'Nasty' Cool Summer Mix 'Control' A Cappella and 'Let's Wait Awhile' RemixpWORST TRACK: 'What Have You Done For Me Lately' Extended Mix. Drags on far too long.
