I'm usually not into remix albums...
...and bought this one only because at that time I collected everything Janet because of the 2 bonus songs, but it was worth it. The album features nine remixes of her erotic R'n'B songs including "That's the Way Love Goes", "If", "Because of Love" and "You Want This". It has two remixes of "Any Time, Any Place", from which the R. Kelly Remix is the better. My special favorites are the romantic "Where Are You Now" (remixed by Nellee Hooper) and the dynamic "What'll I Do" (remixed by Dave Navarro). Both are better than the original versions on the "janet." album.brThe bonus songs are good too, although not as good as the remixes. "70's Love Groove" was her most erotic song till the release of the "All For You" album.

ONLY FOR HARDCORE FANS!!!!!!
this album is definatly for fans only i would say - so lets say you are a fan ... all the singles from the janet. album have been reworked ... some with more success than others ... the songs are very looooooooooong - most of the remixes have been turned into dance tracks - like most remixes - but 'if' and 'you want this' are AMAZING club tracks ! three of the best remixes i have ever heard are on here too - 'where are you now' and 'whatll do' and 'anytime anyplace' (r kelly version) - the alternative video version - these remixes are carefully and skillfully done ! pure class ! there are also 2 new songs - an ULTIMATE baby making song as janet calls them, '70s love groove' and the totally summer chillout rnb jam, 'on and on' ! i love it coz im nuts on her - but it really is for fans only !
