A MUST HAVE ALBUM
.pThis Album contains funky fast paced songs such as Main Squeeze and Sweet on you (feat. Yo-Yo) but in the main it is full of the Slow Jams that only Lady T can do.pThe saxophone linking Climb The Walls with Breakfast In Bed is haunting. Teena Marie rarley does cover versions but she makes the song Hypnotized all her own and proving that Teena can cover anything without making the original artist feel inferior.pTeena is a living legend that somehow has never received the plaudits she richly deserves. As a prolific writer with intelligent lyrics, a producer of high standards and never shying away from trying something new musically, Teena Marie also adds her ability to play guitar keyboards to her resume.pIn recent years Teena Marie has mainly been performing guest vocalist work. She also continues to play to packed audiences across the U.S. where she continues to amaze her loyal fans with breathtaking performances.pRecognised within the music business as a true great this album was well worth the wait. After years of waiting Teena released this Album surpassing all her previous projects.pAs ever, Teena's projects can never be categorised into neat little boxes of Soul, Pop, RB, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Dance etc. Maybe that is why she struggles to get more mainstream recognition.pThe title of DIVA is handed out like sweets more and more these days but there are few worthy of this accolade. TEENA MARIE is one that can wear it with pride.pA must for music lovers!
