Tina is always impressiveOn this soundtrack, Tina reproduced some of her older songs, of which Nutbush City Limits is even better thank the original

Tina Turner - What's Love Got To Do With It? (Original Soundtrack)This Album is the soundtrack to her Hugely Successful 1993 Film of her life story `What's Love Got To Do With It?' It Contains 3 New recordings for the album. It consists of re-recorded versions of the most significant songs from her career that also appear in the film. They are wonderfully produced, giving a fresh yet nostalgic feel to each song. The two songs from the Private Dancer album are the original recordings. The cover photo has a beautiful natural looking Tina on the cover, inside are photos from the same photoshoot where she is playing in the Sea. The middle page has a great photo of Tina sitting in the Directors chair. The back cover has four stills from the Motion Picture. Also notable is the little letter from Tina on the first page of the booklet, she talks about why she decided to have a film made of her life, and how she felt about re-making the old songs, she talks about some of the songs and the new recordings. The Disc is a Picture Disc featuring a photo of Tina on the right hand side. A really great album, essential listening.

The Soundtrack of Tina's life!I don't wanna fight is the track that most people will remember playing as the credits roll at the end of Tina: What's Love Got To Do With It? This haunting track full of melancholic relevance was written by Lulu and is one of Tina's finest singles of the early nineties.
But because this album is autobiographical, you can taste fruits from Tina's career- from early work with Ike (Tina's Wish), and You Know I love You, through to her classic material with Heaven 17- "I Might Have Been Queen."
Like the movie, this soundtrack is full of energy but contains tinges of sadness which are a testament to the surviving talent of Tina Turner. There is no real stand-out track here as each one is a winner. But for pure nostalgia reasons and to re-live Tina's Wembley concerts, Proud Mary is without a doubt one of the most energetic and and lasting classics of Tina's career.
This CD is more than a movie soundtrack- it's the soundtrack of Tina Turner's life! And What a life she has lead!
THE BEST!
