SuperbThis is an incredible album. If you have a soul and enjoy the human voice, especially Welsh music (I am English by the way) this album is guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes. Some tracks are not so stirring as others but it is an absolutely wonderful album. Turn the volume up, pour a drink and get the tissues out.

A great way to engender "Hiraeth"A well produced, nostalgic yet modern and up-beat album of Welsh and other songs to commemorate the 1999 Rugby World Cup. Although I readily support "Cymru am byth", I did not like "Wales Forever" sung by Michael Ball. Putting modern words to the traditional "Cwm Rhondda" hymn is bad enough, but Michael's transatlantic style of singing grated terribly. Y Ddraig Goch Ddyry Cychwyn

Passion and Pride with Anthemic Nationalistic SongsThis album is almost a complete gem. The one lapse or musical misfit, has to be BOGA BOGA performed by the French Bayonne Basque Choir.pAside from that, and you may even like the track, this album resonates with nationalistic anthems and haunting gaelic melodies.pNo one can doubt the sheer beauty and awesome nature of the melodies and harmonies brought to the songs by the Male Voice Choirs.pHighlights, have to be the most excellent Shosholoza by Lady Smith Black Mambazo, and Bryn Terfel's unique vocal.pAnd can we forget the most amazing of all... The Black Mountain Male Chorus.pIf you are not Welsh, then you will still, personally appreciate the fine vocal harmonies, and if you are Welsh then your heart will pound and your passion will be revitalised as you cast distant longings towards Home, where the green grass and lush valleys with picturesque panoramas abound. This album is a must for any Rugby fan, but the Welshness definitely shines through to produce a stunning and lasting memory of Rugby World Cup 99 (WALES)pThis has to be purchased and listened to if you are exiled, and must be played in the build-up to any Rugby 6 Nations Championship.pThe true masterpiece apart from the chosen ones above, has to be the stunning rendition of World in Union - The Welsh Mountain Mix. This is an absolute classic that will send shivers down your spine as the Welsh Chorus harmonizes to perfection.pWhat more can I say.....a truly superb piece of musical history.
