Not bad, but not as good as it could have been
Magic Sword: Quest for Camelot tells the story of Kayley, a fiesty young daughter of a knight of the court of King Arthur. When her father is killed by a ruthless evil knight, who then kidnaps her mother and steals Excalibur, Kayley joins forces with the blind hermit Garrett and a two headed dragon to get the sword back.pThis clearly has its roots in the Disney tradition; there are the normal number of comedy sidekicks, although the two-headed dragon called Devon and Cornwall was perhaps not as clever an idea as the authors thought; it could offend those who live in said counties. That said, the overall film is enjoyable enough, though not as good as 20th Century Fox's "Anastasia" in terms of taking Disney's crown away from them as kings of the animated feature film world.
