If the sight of an extremely attractive woman in various stages of undress sounds like an enticing prospect, then Playboy's Celebrity Special with Kathy Lloyd will certainly have much to recommend it. The beautiful British model shows off her assets in and out of assorted bits of lingerie across a series of soft-focus, pop video-style stripteases. Like other glossy Playboy productions it's bland, inoffensive and all filmed in the best possible taste, as if the viewer is supposed to admire the subtle lighting, camerawork and middle-of-the-road soundtrack as much as the delectable Ms Lloyd herself. In between taking her clothes off, Kathy opines about life and love in completely disposable interview segments. The overall effect is a curiously quaint mixture of the bashful and flirtatious, like a relic from the days when a glimpse of stocking really was something shocking, but it's all the more innocently erotic for that.

On the DVD: Celebrity Special: Kathy Lloyd has no DVD enhancements, but picture and stereo sound are as good as they need to be. --Joseph Andrews

Oh my god! What a fox! I was happy seeing her in nice little outfits on tv just talking about things, but with this DVD, she gets down to it in traditonal Playboy style. Great sections and chapters, excellent scenes and those fabulous outfits are even better when they are off! A real must for any Playboy fan, Kathy Lloyd fan or both.
