A little too exciting...
This video features five episodes from the newest series(1998) - Cranky Bugs, James and the Trouble Trees, Put Upon Percy, Stepney Gets Lost and Something in the Air. Plus songs - Accidents, Clouds, Snow Song and It's Great to Be An Engine.
My son has given this video the thumbs up and I like it but at times it can be a little too action packed. The stories have begun to be unbelievable, but do reflect the current state of the railways in Britain! The best episode is probably the first, Cranky Bugs, it must come before other episodes as we are just introduced to him in this one. It involves Thomas and Percy coming to the new crane's rescue after he becomes too big for his hook!
The songs are as catchy as ever, and the first, Accidents, features clips of about every mishap that ever happened on Sodor!
I would reccomend watching this with your child first just incase it's too much for them. Overall another great video.

Too many accidents!
My daughter loves Thomas, but finds this video a bit much. The 5 stories are mixed in with songs - the first of which, Accidents, shows scene after scene of engines and trucks running off bridges, falling into gorges, getting crushed by landslides, being chased by a large boulder, etc. It makes her cry.

This video is tremendous!
This video contains 5 Thomas the tank engine stories from the newest series which continue to entertain over 1,000 children all around the world.In 'Cranky Bugs',A new crane named Cranky teases Thomas and Percy,but when Cranky has an accident and it's up to Thomas and Percy to help him,in 'James And The Trouble With Trees',James the red engine has an accident with trees and needs a new coat of paint,in 'Put Upon Percy',Percy thinks that he's been working too hard,but when he has an accident with freight cars which causes the mine to collapse on Percy,he learns that work is important,in Stepney Gets Lost,Stepney gets lost on a foggy night which leads him to the scrapyard,and in Something In The Air,Henry gets a swim with the fishes.
