This is not aimed at children!
Like all the other reviews, I think this production is absolutely fantastic! I see it as a piece of art more than anything. I believe it is still interesting to watch today, whether you are a child or an adult, it just simply rules! The part with all the masks is quite freaky though! This is definitely a classic!

25 years on and Dougal kicks blue butt....
Wow - I watched this and I was back 25 years, singing along like it was yesterday! That horrible noise from Dougal's dream still scares the crap outta me though.....

Trouble in the garden, all is not well...
This was scary stuff for me as a little child, I remember getting the record of the story when I was about 5 and being really frightened of the Blue Cat. The video brought it all back, including the rather schmaltzy song where Florence is chained up and crying in the dungeon... don't ask, just a tale about a very bad Blue Cat. Dougal to the rescue...pThis is great psychedelic entertainment, watch it and shiver with fear and nostalgia...

Fantastic!!!
I loved this!!! Episodes of The Magic Roundabout always seemed too short so I was glad to discover this. The plot of good against evil is simple and straightforward but can still entertain adults. I think it can be enjoyed by anyone,(particularly those who love Dougal!) whether discovering The Magic Roundabout for the first time or having grown up with it. ..
