One of the worst films I've ever watched
I was told by a friend who'd watched this already that it was bad, and not to watch it. I thought "how bad can it really be? After all, the first film was brilliant", and that shows just how wrong you can be.

I'd describe this film as being like the Crow, except lacking the style, story, and acting of the first. So basically, they've taken everything that was good out of the first film and left practically nothing worth watching.

A pretty good sequel - if slightly gruesome!
The sequel to the '94 cult classic, sees another soul brought back to take his revenge. Ashe (Vincent Perez) and his son were murdered after witnessing something they shouldn't have. This time Ashe is aided not only by The Crow but also Sarah (Eric and Shelley's friend from the first film), who has had visions of him.
Again, it follows the same general theme as before - revenge and eternal love. Slightly more violent than the first, and we find out more about The Crow's power of resurrection.
Overall a good sequel - a wonderfully deranged performance from Iggy Pop as Curve (one of the murderer's) and a small cameo for Ian Dury as Sarah's friend Noah - all help to make this for an enjoyable, if slightly gruesome, movie.

Such a let down! Ruins the first film!
Well this film is dreadful!

Being a sequel to one of my favourite all-time films, I was a little but sceptical, and I was justified.

All they have done is taken the great film "The Crow" and used it's idea to write a dreadful film based around the idea of revenge.

It is dark and seedy. It is disgusting in places.

The new "crow" acts badly and his character is very weak. How he ended up in this sitiuation is even more un-believable. The view from the birds eyes is poor, the very fact that this miracle of coming back from the dead has happened twice is even more un-believable seeing as it is centered around the same young girl as in the previous film.

Basically this is a poor film that should never have been made. I hate the directors and producers for ruining the whole "The Crow" story as the first film was so wonderful, well written, beautifully shot with some of Brandon Lees best acting!!

If you have seen or even heard of (or even if you haven't heard of!)"The Crow" - I urge you to NEVER buy this sequel as it will leave you with a nasty bitter taste in your mouth!

DREADFUL!

Unoriginal, cliched rubbish
I liked the first film, and having read the above reviews, was prepared to give the sequel a try. I shouldn't have bothered. The acting (notably from Iggy Pop) was terrible, the script virtually non-existent, the plot minimal and predictable (partly because it was basically a rehash of the original), and the whole feel of the film was very tacky. Maybe it would be alright if you're drunk when watching it, but if you want a good film to watch, look elsewhere.

Second Crow film and also second in line...excellent movie!
I agree with most of what "cade" said about the film: it's excellent, good cast, excellent soundtrack and different enough from the original film...nevertheless I would give it "only" 4 stars because of small little personal details which I didn't like: main one being Vincent Perez smiling too often in the film. But I'm totally in favour of The Crow being kept alive through sequels...the trick is to keep them fresh and not to compare them to the original... Keep it coming guys...
