Fascinating story of Volcanoes and Earthquakes
There are four programs on this one video.

1. Hell's Crust - about the eruption of Mt. St Helens, one of the 20th century's most cataclysmic natural disasters.

2. Restless Planet - Happening in just seconds, bringing untold damage, chaos and misey, we travel from California where the US suffered its most damaging natural disaster in its history, to Kobe, Japan where a seismic shudder led to 5,000 deaths and a multi-billion repair bill.

3. Out of the Inferno - Vesuvius, Etna, Pinatubo, Unzen. With specatular footage and remarkable personal testimony, this is about the terrifying and often unpredicable variety of a volcano's moods.

4. Waves of Destruction - about the phenomenon called Tsdunami, the waves of destruction that started at Krakatoa and ended claiming 35,000 lives.

Approx 204 minutes and narrated by Ian Holm, I found this video fascinating to watch. There was one story about a woman who was trapped under tons of concrete; a surgeon was ready to cut off her trapped leg but then a rescuer had a simple idea that not only saved her leg but also her life.
