This - Is - Extreme
This is one of the best PPVs I have ever seen. All of the matches were performed to the highest standard. Also, a little note to the guy who asked why did it have a picture of rhino on the front? That wasn't Rhino, it was Sabu.
Now, on to the review:

Super Crazy vs Yoshihiro Tajiri

This match has lots of good high flying moves on the outside and lucha libre techniques from Super Crazy. A good way to kick off the PPV.

Steve Corino vs Balls Mahoney

This one started when Steve Corino came out and started running his mouth and offered a challenge to anyone, so out came Balls Mahoney with Axl Rotten. This is a short but good match with Balls's chair making an appearance as always.

Little Guido vs Antifaz Del Norte

I'm probably not the only one who's never heard of Del Norte, but I was interested to see what he was capable of in the ring. He is a good lucha libre style wrestler and this match was a good all-round match, with Del Norte going through a table. This match also has a good ending.

RVD vs Jerry Lynn

This match was for the World Television Title. This was definetly one of the best matches on the video. Both men performed to their very best ability. Lots of technical and aerial moves in this match with tables and chairs also.

New Jack vs Mustafa

Mustafa had betrayed New Jack which led to this match. As always with New Jack, there was no real wrestling, just weapons galore. Has a great ending with a classic New Jack dive.

The Dudley Boyz vs Nova and Spike Dudley

This started when the Dudleys issued a challenge to any tag team in the back. The Dudleys quickly dispose of Nova and Spike Dudley, but it was still a great and very entertaining match. With a special apperance from Sid Vicious at the end...

Justin Credible and Lance Storm (with Dawn Marie, Jazz and Jason) vs Tommy Dreamer and Shane Douglas (with Francine)

There had been a long feud leading up to this match. This is a very good match with everyone giving it their all. Lots of double team moves as well as hardcore etc.

Sabu vs Taz

These two have been feuding for a very long time, they headlined ECWs first PPV Barely Legal in 1997. This is definetly the best match of the night, with lots of amazing chair and table spots.

My opinion - buy it. It's worth it just for the RVD - Jerry Lynn and Sabu - Taz matches.

Buy this video i urge you!
A young Tajiri has a great match against Super Crazy, it really is a good match and really kicks off the PPV.
A brutal chair shot from Balls is the highlight of the Balls Mahoney v Steve Corino "match".
Little Guido(Nunzio) v Antifaz Del Norte is another good match, problem is its a bit short, you just want to see more of Antifaz.
Now this is one of the gratest matches i have ever seen, after this match RVD crowns himself Mr. PPV and rightly so, RVD v Jerry Lynn was an amazing match, i cant really describe how good this match is, big respect to the "new f'n show" Jerry Lynn aswell.
New Jack v Mustafa, two former tag team partners went to absolute war. New Jack dam nearly killed himself aswell as Mustafa.
The Dudleys v Spike and Nova was short but you get a dose of the comic stylings of Joel Gertner which is always good.
Dreamer and Douglas v Credible and Storm is another quality match with a good story behind it.
But this is a great main event Taz (ECW Spelling) v Sabu, the hatred between these two was well documented throughout the show. It was a great match, i really enjoyed it, on one hand you got the craziness and high-flying Sabu and on the other the intense ground attack of Taz (ECW Spelling).
This is one of the best shows i ve seen in a long time with so many matches on the show that had to be candidates for match of the year of '99. Buy this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This event would've got 5 stars but because of the first 3 matches it didn't.

It starts off with SUPER CRAZY vs TAJIRI. Not as good as their match as GAG'99 but it had some good high flyin' moves. 3/5

Then it's STEVE CORINO vs BALLS MAHONEY. This was a commical battle with an o.k crowd responce. 2/5

LITTLE GUIDO vs ANTIFAZ was the next match. Rather boring in places but had a good table spot. After the match the FBI split up.

Then it's a 5 star match between RVD & JERRY LYNN it's great.
At one point they are on the top rope & Lynn has the chair & RVD hits the Vantedaminator & Lynn falls through a table.
Then a few minutes later Lynn DDTs RVD onto a table on the outside which dosen't brake. 5/5

MUSTAPHA vs NEW JACK was a brutal & bloody match which includes a New Jack 20 foot dive off a balcony. 3/5

The Dudleys then come out & issue an open challenge & Spike and Nova accept. It's not that good but it's funny when Bob Artise gets 3D. It gets better ehrn SYD comes ot & destroys everyone 2/5

TOMMY DREAMER & SHANE DOUGLAS vs THE IMPACT PLAYERS was disapointing because it was mostly wrestling throughout the match but near the end it got hardcore. 3/5

SABU vs TAZ was a Deathmatch & was for the ECW title & FTW title.
This was a great match they use tables & mostly chairs. 4/5

This is my first ever ecw video i have bought, and it is one hell of a ppv. The only dissapointing matches are lance storm and justin credible vs tommy dreamer and the franchise, and tajiri vs super crazy, but these were still dahm good. And the best match has to be either new jack vs mustafa(new jack jumps 20 ft through a table) or R.V.D vs Jerry Lynn.The only thing i dont understand is why on the front cover of the video, it has a big picture of ryno.?.

not ecw's best ppv but better than most wwf&wcw ppv's
this started with a great interview from taz. the 1st match was a mindblowing affair of elegant wrestling skills and brutal moves rating***** 2nd match steve corino vs balls, funny and gets a great crowd response rating*** 3rd match guido vs del norte this was good but looked bad due to the crowds boring chants.*** 4th match jerry lynn vs rvd this was a great match with moves which make your heart race!***** 5th match was new jack vs mustapha this was slow paced due to mustapha's laziness but new jack's violent streak makes it a worthwhile match.*** 6th match dudley boyz vs spike&nova this match doesn't last long but it is still brutal**** 7th match impact players vs dreamer&douglas this match was good but lasted a bit too long what happens after the match is disgusting! 8th match was taz vs sabu this was a great death match with chairs tables and brutal manouvers.*****
