ROCK MUSIC WITH ALIENS AND WEIRD BEASTIES!
Fortean heroes Jon Downes and the Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe (of Fortean TV fame) collude and collide on this wonderfully mental record. Basically, they take old rock and folk standards and replace the original lyrics with references to the Loch Ness Monster, UFOs, Aliens and all manner of strangeness. Special mention must go to The Amphibians From Outer Space who sound incredibly similar to the Sex Pistols and the band who played on The Legendary Stardust Cowboy's early stuff. Eccentric? Certainly. Worth buying? Definitely. A real collector's item, make no mistake. If only they would reform and do a tour.
