Despite her best efforts this album sounds like the dischordant screaming of skinless deaf children being lowered into vinegar.

WHAT A GREAT VOICE!!!
I love this artist, this girl is a tremendous hit!!! and this is her real first album; i like the dancing tracks like GENNIE IN A BOTTLE, COME ON OVER (ALL I WANT IS YOU), SO EMOTIONAL and LOVE FOR ALL SEASONS;It has the great ballads REFLECTION (from Disney's Mulan), I TURN TO YOU, OBVIOUS and WHAT A GIRL WANTS; If you have MI REFLEJO, you can hear some of this songs in their Spanish versions, but in the case of WHAT A GIRL WANTS the rhythm is different if you compare the MI REFLEJO'S version UNA MUJER (but the song is the same). One of the greatest female voices of the 21th Century!!!

This album shows her true-beginning-talent
Christina debut album had definitely exceeded my expectations back then. It was not a sugary bubblegum pop filled album like that other Mouse-keteer, but an album with RB songs mixed with a little pop and packed with a lot of soul! She had introduced us to a voice that has a lot of depth and showcased it extremely well for someone her age. br / br /Christina has teamed up with some great songwriters (Diane Warren, etc...) and producers to bring us these catchy tunes and powerful inspirational ballads. "I Turn to You" is amazing, as well as "Reflection", which clearly shows the girl can sing. "What a Girl Wants", "Obvious," one of my favorites "Come on Over (All I Want is You)", and "Love Will Find a Way" are a little more upbeat, as well as "Genie in a Bottle", which will stay in your heads even after the songs are over. On all ballads Christina's voice plays center stage to show off her great range. br / br /"Genie in a Bottle" had firmly established her as one of pop music brightest star. As of right now she has already proving her longevity in the music industry so whatever she wished for from the Genie had already been granted. br /

my favourite Christina Aguilera cd
Stripped is Christina's best album in terms of biting - and true to life -lyrics and vocal gymnastics, but the Christina Aguilera cd is a more enjoyable and welcome experience - showcasing smooth,beautiful and relaxed singing with lively,upbeat rhythms. br /

Genie in a Bottle
Christina Aguilera's vocals are outstanding . The Album is very good but Stripped and Back To Basics is EVEN BETTER!!!! br /4 Star album. Brilliant songs br /Buy the CD!!!!
