the rise and rise of ms Spears
the start of a new millenium means the start of something new for ms.Spears she was a few years off of adulthood but this album more than shows her capability of reflecting a stronger vocal range and experimanting with newer sounds which she will do in current years. br /oops i Did it Again is more than just a sequel to Baby One More Time...it's its successor with several phenominal sounds including her own rendition of the Stones classic Satisfaction, which just shows how amazingly well known and trusted Spears is. br /while this album is not entirely prefect it is much more than the quality of music in the pop industry of recent years. br /tracklist- br / br /Oops!I Did It Again-4/5-the stunning lead track that lacks the punch of her previous singles from Baby One More Time but is one of Spears most distinctive tracks. br / br /Stronger-5/5-the most perfect and greatest single release from this album due to its formidable and well ;strong; sound that makes the song entirely perfectionalist. br / br /Don't Go Knockin' On My Door-5/5-entirely random but a sound that will be experimented with in later years for Spears. br / br /No Satisfaction-5/5-a fantastic rendition of a a Stones classic that is personified by Spears and is one of the better tracks on the album. br / br /Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know-4/5-a nice urban fell to a surprisingly enchanting song. br / br /What U See is What u Get-5/5-a strong song that acts like a sequel to Stronger with a similar lyrical structure and distinctive beat. br / br /Lucky-5/5-an enchanting single from the album that deals with fame and young aspiring stras like Spears herself or more iconic Hollywood figures like Marylin Monroe who had their troubles like Spears herself encountered through 2003-07 so therefore the strongest song on the album and an easily identiyable track it is too. br / br /One Kiss From You-3/5-not entirely iconic but nevertheless enjoyable. br / br /Where Are You Now-4/5-a slower paced track that contains Spear recognisable sound. br / br /Can't Make You Love Me-3/5 br /When Your Eyes Say it-3/5 br /Girl In he Mirror-3/5-all three of the aforementioned tracks are each beautiful in their structure but i can't help but feel they're uneeded for the album as they aren't entirely perfect but nevertheless good. br / br /Dear Diary-5/5-an epic close to an all in all great album br / br /Heart-3/5-a decent track with its slower unwinding style but as a bonus it questions its loyalty to the rest of the album. br / br /a worthy purchase and a great album to add to your collection, she only perfects herself in her power of song writing and production style in future albums-BRITNEY,IN THE ZONE,BLACKOUT and the epic CIRCUS!!

a mixture of beautifully and softly sung ballads and more lively songs such as Stronger and "Oops! I did it again."
This cd has a mixture of beautifully and softly sung ballads and more lively songs such as Stronger and "Oops! I did it again." The majority of the songs on the disc don't have the most original lyrics or music but what they do have is Britney's one-off voice. This cd like the cd "Baby one more time" is hard to stop listening to and I listen to it more than br /any other cd I have got.As someone who listens to all kinds of music from classical to hip-hop I can tell you that this means it's a recording of some quality. If you asked me to take two cds from any group/solo artist br /and say who has the best two cds I would say "Britney Spears with "Baby one more time" and "Oops I did it again." But while "Baby one more time" has 10 good songs (out of twelve)on it,"Oops I did it again" has fifteen (out of fifteen)! If you want some music to relax to,the last 6 songs of Oops!I did it Again! will be right up your street - wherever you live! br / br /

Full of poptastic hits
You have to love Britney Spears and this pop package. It is fresh, it is poppy and it is a great listen. br /There is pop tinged with RnB and the pure Pop hits on here. If you have heard Opps I did it again and liked it then I am sure you will love this album but it is very much in the style of that song and heaps better than her first album. br /This is a great album that can be listened to from start to finish, there are no tracks on here that you will want to skip. br /Lovers of pop music or Britney Spears this album is for you!! br /

A good follow up
Anitcipation was high when Britney's second album came out. It had a lotto live up to, after the phenomenal success of '....Baby one moretime'brOverall the album is good, although it does differ that much fromher first, but i'll break it down and review each song seperately.brOoops....i did it again 8/10: A fun, pure pop track. It's obviously anattempt to be the second '....Baby one more time'it's not as good, butit's a still a great track. I think that the Titanic bit in the middle isa clever touch.brStronger 9/10: This is probably the most grown-up track that's not aballad on the album. It's an attempt to be mature, granted, but its a nicechange to hear Britters sing about leaving, not wanting, a guy. The SFXare kinda cool.brDon't go knockin'on my door 7/10: Another song that tries to make Britneysound more grown up. Its got an R'n'B vibe about it, but the music is justa bit too repetative and it get dull after a while.br(I can't get no) Satisfaction 5/10: Who ever decided to put this song onthe album made a HUGE mistake, they've ruined a classic song. Britney jsutdoesn't suit it lyrically or it's music style. The most irritataing partof this song is the 'uh uh's' in the middle- what's that all about?brDon't let me be the last to know 8/10: Britney's voice suits this songwell, and it's clever because most teenage girls can relate to this songif they have a boyfriend. It's a bit long though.br(What u see) Is what u get 7/10: Okay track, a bit repetative, a 'filler'track, but the lyrics set a good example i suppose.brLucky 8/10: It honestly depends on how you look at this track, if you putaside the cheesiness of it then it's actually kinda sweet. The lyrics arelaughable at times, granted, but it's a perfect pop song that wasobviously going to be compared to Britney's fame, so it was a good choice. brOne kiss from you 7/10: Another 'filler' track, it's probably the one songfrom the album that could have been put on her first album, the lyrics aresimilar and her voice sounds the same as it did then. On the other tracksher voice sounds different and the songs themselves make an attempt tosound brmore 'mature'.brWhere are you now 9/10: This is the big ballad of the album, and i thinkprobably one of the best tracks too. Brtiney proves that she can sing, thelyrics are full of regret and heartbreak, the vocals are heartfelt and theoverall sound is quite mature.brCan't make you love me 7/10: The lyrics are predicatable and Britney'svoice is the same as on the other up-tempo tracks, but the music isactually quite cool. In a weird way, it's like a grown up version of'....Baby one more time'brWhen your eyes say it 9/10: I really like this track. Britney's vocals areexcellent and it's probably the most original track on the album, and oneof the most mature. The music is quite different too. It's a shame thatit's really just a slower version of 'One kiss from you'brGirl in the mirror 8/10: Sweet and a refeshing change from hearing Britneysing about boys and love. I think that if you're a teenage girl, you couldrelate to this song if you'r feeling a bit down. Britney's vocals are ather best ont his song, it really suits her voice.brDear Diary 5/10: Let's put it this way, Briney isn't a songwriter, thelyrics are just too cheesy. But her voice sounds o.k and the music isactually pretty good. It should have been a bonus track.brOverall, a good attempt to try and mature her sound, and she just aboutpulls it off woth songs such as'Stronger, 'When your eyes say it' and'Where are you now'. The album could have been stronger without song like'Dear Diary' and '(i can't get no) Satisfaction. But that aside, anenjoyable album to listen to at a sleepover.
