BUY IT!
This song is completely unique and so is the album (Eat at Whitey's). Both are tremendous. This CD also comes with 'Grves to Dig' which is a very meaingful and emotional song. I recommend this CD to anyone with any taste in music. Everlast is an extremely underated artist. The album is an eclectic mix of rock, hip hop and r&b. This CD is too good to be overlooked. Buy it as soon as you can.

You've come a long way, Whitey . . .
Everlast has come a long way from his days with House Of Pain, and fans expecting a party track like "Jump Around" will be sorely disappointed. With "Black Jesus", Everlast's gravelly (and sometimes haunting) vocals & his new blues stylings are infused together to make this superb track. The first single from the album "Eat At Whitey's" to be released in the UK, "Black Jesus" should finally open the doors of Whitey's to the masses. Alternatively, if you're willing to spend a little more cash, try one of his two albums - "Eat At Whitey's" or his debut "Whitey Ford Sings The Blues" - as both are truly great records.
