HOOBACIOUS FUN WITH THE HOOBS!
Welcome to Channel 4's answer to the Teletubbies. The Hoobs are 5 furry creatures from Hoobland who have come to Earth to learn about life on our planet. The Hoobs have a daily question to answer, and rely on the help of Tiddlypeeps, (their word for children), to get information. Three of the Hoobs, (Iver, Groove and Tula), live in the Hoobmobile, a multi-coloured bus powered by Motorettes, (cute little musical creatures which sing little songs throughout the show). Another Hoob, Roma, is the David Attenborough-type explorer who sends reports from all over the world. Finally, there is Hubba Hubba, the 'parent' of the group, who lives in Hoobland and is compiling a Hoobopedia of information by contacting the Hoobs over the Hoobnet! The main similarities with the Teletubbies? The bright and colourful creatures, (from Jim Hensons Workshop), and lots of music to keep your children entertained. The main differences? The Hoobs all speak normally, (with the odd exception of a Hooby word instead of a normal one!), and encourage each other to reach their potential. A hit with children and adults alike, this will surely become the best children's show ever! IT'S HOOBACIOUS!
