Wrong Turn
The simplest way of describing the plot of this film is The Hills Have Eyes set in the woods. All the characters are there from the creepy petrol station attendant to the mutated cannibals.
The difference is that the cast are 'young and hip' and the characters are all of the same age group, it is a bit more sexed up than The Hills Have Eyes and is more likely to appeal to the teenage market than that film did.
This is not a contradiction, as The Hills Have Eyes is one of the best horror films ever made.

There are alot of scenes designed especially to make you jump and is better watched in the dark with a group of people. There are some amazing death scenes and the acting cannot really be criticised.. if you like bloody horrors then this is definately worth a watch, just don't expect a plot which is amazingly original.
There are clearly alot of twists and unexpected moments which make it stand out on its own as one of the best horrors of its time!

Classic Horror
It keeps you awake even when you watch it at 4 in the morning!!!!

This is one of the best horror movies made in the last 20 years its just hardcore horror its got everything scary monsters, woods, gore and a big man with a bow and arrow.

A MUST BUY!!!!

Great horror
Wrong Turn is a great film, the story is pretty simple, Chris Finn (Desmond Harrington) is held up by traffic so he takes a short cut through the woods (we all know where this is going!) and runs into (literally) a group of friends including Eliza Dushku and one by one they are killed by a group of mutated freaks that live in the woods. Wrong Turn is gorey fun but has a fairly short running time (80 minutes) but that means less talking and more action so I'm not complaining.

Perfect example of Real HORROR!
Bought this film simply cause it has super-Actress Eliza Dushku in it, and i am so glad i did- i have seen 1000's of horror movies but this one totally tops them all. The story was brill, the characters were world class and the killings were perfect plus the film didnt drag on like some annoying films, it had a perfect length. If u are a huge fan of Horror films and enjoy seing a bit of gore then this film is a bargain buy for u - i total urge u to buy it. Only could give it a max of 5 star rating on this amazon rating but it deserves so much more- Brill Film seen Ever!

Brilliantly acted and extremely gory...ending needs work
As a thirteen year old horror fan (although this is the first 'slasher' film I have seen), I would have to say that this film is a pretty good starting point for my slasher obsession. Although half of the cast are dead within 45 minutes, and some of the deaths towards the end are rather predictable, I thouroughly enjoyed this film. Contributions from Eliza Dushku (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Tru Calling)'s fantastic acting (though perhaps not so many squeals and moans next time) made this an above average film, definitely worth viewing.

I think The Hills Have Eyes will be next for me.
