promises a lot more than it delivers
There was one thing that really bugged me about this video, as some of you may know on many of the ECW videos the wrestlers music (such as Metallica's 'Enter Sandman or Pantera's 'Walk) is drowned out by some cheap-o-nasty techno music that Delta Video have made up. This is probably something to do with copyright law, but it doesn't make it any less annoying! Most wrestlers end up having the same entrance music and this music drowns out the commentary too, you can't hear Joey Styles or Cyruss during wrestlers entrances or at the end of the matches, and there is no commentary at all during Rhino and New Jacks match! This is a problem on some of the earlier ECW videos but it has never been as bad as it is on this video, it really spoils the presentation.
The quality of wrestling is not as high as we have come to expect from ECW, but most of the matches are still relatively entertaining. Many of the matches have very abrupt or unspectacular endings that seem either rushed or simply messed up, this very disappointingly includes the flaming table and Double Jeopardy match. Of course mistakes happen in wrestling, and one or two botched endings can be accepted, but there are far too many disappointing finishes on this video.

This event is a disappointment, the list of matches promises a lot more than it delivers yet it is still relatively entertaining throughout. It is probably just about worth seeing, but there are a lot better ECW videos around

The last ever N2R
This ended up being ECWs last ever November to Remember as ECW folded in February '01. It's not hard to see why ECW went bust. It's TV deal with TNN only ran for one year, and many of it's biggest stars leaft threw out the year or were injured as this PPV shows. Sabu walked out because he refused to lose a match to Super Crazy, Taz leaft for WWE he was soon followed by Raven. Mike Awesome and Lance Storm leaft for WCW. Masato Tanaka went back to Japan permently. Tommy Dreamer suffered a recurrence of his back injury hence him not booked in this card (though he does make a brief appearance). And, Rob Van Dam was owed some money by ECW and was threatening them to take them to court so he wasn't in Paul Heymans good books at this time.
November to Remember was a decent PPV. It starts off with a good enough match between Joey Matthews & Christian York Vs. Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond. We then see the match of the night in my view when Kid Cash goes toe2toe with 'The Enforcer' C.W. Anderson. Spike Dudley, Roadkill and Danny Doring take on Hot Commodety and Chris Hamrick in a great highflying 6 man. Chris Chetti Vs. Nova was a thriller! The loser had to "leave" ECW, the finishing move in this one is a cracker! But things get a little scrappy in a flaming tables match with Balls Mahoney & Chilli Willie Vs. Da Baldies. It had some great hardcore brawls sure, but by this time it was getting a bit boring. Rhino puts his TV title on the line against New Jack in a great brawl which was totally ruined by that God awful music playing trew out it! ECW Tag gold is up for grabs as The F.B.I clash with The Unholy Alliance. This match was brilliant but the ending ruins it a little. (Half way threw, Whipwreck gets injured and replaced by a returning superstar.) We then see the 1st ever Double Jeporedy match for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Jerry Lynn Vs. Justin Credible AND Steve Corino Vs. Sandman took place at the same time were the winners of each match would go 1on1 to see who would be champion. Sadly, this wasn't the match it was hyped up to be, but all 4 men give a good effort.

A pretty good event overall but none of the matches were really that special. They were all good but not anything I haven't seen before.

DOUBLE JEOPARDY!!!!!!
NTR 2000 isnt that great but the main event is excellent!

1) Simon Diamond/Swinger vs. York/Matthews
Not that good : 5/10

2) CW Anderson vs Kid Kash
Kash is awesome and CW finally performs decently. 7/10

3) Nova vs Chris Chetti
This was a LOSER LEAVES ECW MATCH and both men go wild on each other. 8/10

4) Balls Mahoney/Chilil Willy vs Da Baldies
This was the worst FLAMING TABLES MATCH ever! It could've been awesome but was a short finish and ...brawl throughout. 5.5/10

5) New Jack vs Rhyno
TV TITLE MATCH that is off the charts violent. Annoying music throughout though...! Good anyway though. 7.5/10

6) FBI vs Tajiri/Whipwreck
TAG TITLES are on the line and it is a hardcore heaven match until Mikey gets injured. The match carries on though as Tajiri gets an unlikely substition. Naff ending but QUALITY moves all around. The FBI could've got killed so easily!! 8/10

7) Sandman vs Steve Corino/Jerry Lynn vs Justin credible
FIRST EVER DOUBLE JEOPARDY MATCH. These two matches occur at the same time in the same ring and the winners meet for the ECW TITLE after. Insane HARDCORE match with lots of blood, weapons, interference and chaos that crowns a NEW CHAMPION! 9/10

Because of the music and match endings this didnt get 5 stars but is still an excellent PPV anyway.

YOU WONT REGRET BUYING THIS!

my review of ntr 2000!
while ecw usually bring out great events on video i must say that ntr 2000 was a big disapointment, the double jeopardy match didnt live up to its hype and the flaming tables match could have been so much better.i have given every ecw event 5 stars before but this only gets a 3.there are much better ecw videos around such as heatwave 2000 or anarchy rulz 2000.
