Nice! But missing bits!
Nice piece of work from Borland. Delphi always was a favourite of mine, and the new version adds some much needed features. However, I was slightly disapointed that the main feature list (the VCL components) are no more advanced than version 3 in the personal edition. The lack of the action bars in the personnel edition is disapointing and where is the data engine? It was available in the equivelent Deplhi 3 version. Look out for mistakes in the documentation also as it is distictly Professional version based.

However, these are minor overall and cannot distract from the lovely IDE environment and exeptional compiler which beats anything Microsoft has to offer by miles!

Just a GREAT Product !!
Delphi is easy to use, easy to learn, quick to develop & run programs. There are loads of books available to help with programming, loads of websites etc. Delphi is just an excellent buy & well worth the cash.

Amazing - Well Worth it!
This amazing piece of software is the creme de la creme of software authoring technology (or as the French say the cream of the cream!!). It has already enabled me to create some very impressive programs which have been of great use to me and to others. If you don't know Delphi (or Pascal) already, I would recommend a visit to marcocantu.com to see the free online Pascal book. I would also recommend buying 'Mastering Delphi' (also by Marco Cantu). These books have really helped me. I would really recommend this software to anyone interested in creating software of their own, even if they are almost new to computers! This is a great buy.
