Cheap and cheerful
All three of these films are astonishingly well-crafted, and they each represent a genre very well. Blood Simple is really quite tense, but with witty moments that seem more evident in The Coen Brother's later works. Barton Fink is also excellent, and sees an early Coen Brothers/Steve Buscemi collaboration. The Big Lebowski is quite simply one of the fuuniest films I have ever seen, with John Goodman stealing scenes from under Jeff Bridges' nose and an outstanding cameo from John Turturro (as the child molester bowler 'Jesus'). Three films for under £15 is very good value, especially when all are made by such experts at crafting films. An excellent buy, and you've really got nothing to lose. I would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates humour.

A good value package
These three videos represent a good cross section of the Coen brothers work. The Big Lebowski is a great comedy with many memorable scences. I defy anyone not to find it funny, with John Goodman in particular stealing the show. Completely different is Blood Simple - an early Coen brother movie and done as pure film noir. It will certainly make the hairs prickle on the back of your neck - even if you can sense the budget used was very small. Barton Fink is another comedy which starts very well. However, this is the weakest movie of the three and comes apart towards the end. All in all good value.
