Amazon.co.uk ReviewPerhaps the most interesting decade in her career, IGHV2/I is a selection of the best songs from 1992's IErotica/I to IMusic/I in 2000. Throughout the 1990s, Madonna was well publicised for trying her hand at anything musical together with setting new styles and standards in pop fashion. IGHV2/I highlights her diversity as it shifts from the "In Bed with Madonna" period with tunes such as "Erotica" and "Deeper Deeper" to the William Orbit and Mirwais phases of her last two albums by way of the Lloyd Webber musical, IEvita/I. Fans of IMusic/I or IRay of Light/I who were not Madonna fans from back in the day may find the latter half of the album less easy going as it does not possess the quirkiness of her later material nor the cheesy but highly accessible quality of older tunes as featured on the first Greatest Hits, IThe Immaculate Collection/I. Nevertheless, there is far more to Madonna than cowboys and ultra-trendy producers; each of the 15 tracks featured here are definitely the pick of her five albums from this golden period. --IDavid Trueman/I

Madonna GHV2Love her or loathe her there can be no doubt as to the enormous impact that Madonna has had on the music scene these past 20 or so years. I've got to be honest, there are only a handful of her records that'll get listening. The rest? Well... music is in the ear of the listener.

br /I bought this for my wife because she wanted to see (hear?) if she really did like this stuff. She does. It's even offered me one or two more tracks to catch my attention!
br /
br /If, like me or my wife, you want to check out Madonna and see if you really do like the Lady and her music then you can do no worse than buy this Cd. If this doesn't wake you up to Madonna then please return it to Amazon and let someone else enjoy the moment that you missed.

GHV2GHV2 sums up Madonna's singles from 1992 to 2001 from Erotica, Bedtime Stories the Evita soundtrack, Ray of Light, Beautiful Stranger and Music.
br /
br /What I like about the album is it's artwork and the jumbled track listing.
br /What I didn't like about the album is the editing of quite a lot of tracks.
br /
br /However, not all the singles are here and there's no new music either but if you're a Madonna fan who's enjoyed the hits from the 1990s, then this is a good start before you venture further with the albums.

br /It looks promising, though the editing is ghastly and som of the songs, like "Bad Girl", "Rain", "Fever", "You'll See", "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" and "This Used To Be My Playground" aren't on there though in my opinion I think they should be.

Madonna: Queen of popI like this greatest hits album. There might have been other songs that she did round about this time in her career but they aren't included. That is the only negative point I have to make.
br /Madonna sings 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina ' really really well, I am very impressed and can't fault her for that.
br /
br /I really like 'Drowned World/Substitute for love ' a really touching, hauntingly beautiful song about how falling in love has changed her since she met Guy Ritchie...it's sweet and reveals a more softer side to Madonna.
