This is an amazing song....
I was listening to Virgin Radio UK online and this song came on and I hadto find out what it was. This is a great song that should be worked intoany 'feel good' set list you're putting together.

Fantastic
This song is brilliant - it has all the undertones of "Not if You Were The Last Junkie on Earth" with a more uplifting, bouncy chorus GUARANTEED to get everyone in a club shouting their voice raw! (I know I did). Unfortunate though the TV exposure may seem, think of all the people who went out and bought the song after seeing the adverts (ok, not that many!) and who are now fans of the Dandies... I'm glad I don't have a TV personally, as it's fine pumpin' on the stereo!

Fantastic Song So Brutally Murdered By TV
First seen (and heard) on MTV2 some time early in 2000, this was crinimally ignored by pretty much everyone. I think one of the few people who'd heard of the Dandy's happened to work for Vodafone's ad department, and over a year and a half later, it infects our televisions with contant adverts. The single itself is a masterpiece, pure laid back enjoyable rock 'n' roll which is, quite simply, bohemian.pOnly buy it if you really love the song, because its more than likely that you'll hear the song every half hour on television.pThe running guitar riff is just so memorable, and the chorus of "Ooh Ooh Oooh!" can't be passed without singing along to. The lyrics are sung effortlessly and it's just such a shame that an underexposed song is catapulted to shamelessly expolited and overexposed. Still, at least there are a few other undiscovered gems out there.

Better than David Beckham by a long way; a revived gem
After their big hit Not If You Were the Last Junkie On Earth the Dandy Warhols kind of faded from the limelight, which I always felt was too bad. Now those adverts for Vodafone, with the song featrued alongside David Beckham clips amongst other thigns, have awakened people to the song, a great power-pop indie-tinged number which rubs shoulders with the likes of Ash as well as their much-stated influences of The Velvet Underground and Iggy Pop. Not their best track when compared to things like Boys Better, Hard On For Jesus and Get Off, but good to see it as a hit. It could only happen in Britain.

A Hit At Last!!!!
The best single of 2000 is now the best single of 2001. This truly superb song has become a hit at last. Three and a half minutes of pure rock and roll. OK it won't top the UK chart (although it deserves to) but at last the Top 40 will have an entry worth listening to. Now a lot more people will get wise and like The Dandy Warhols.
