Great introduction
I did not know any Yoga. I am not increadibly fit (although I am starting to shape up!) and I have in the past done a little Pilates br / br /Interested in trying Yoga, I picked this up as it seemed like a good place to start! br / br /Well, I won't say it was a breeze but it was totally manageable and I really enjoyed it. As a place to begin learning i thought it felt just right. I can't wait to get to learning some more but in the mean time I should go back and practice. br / br /I am combining this with other exercise but I deffinitely feel the results after every session. Wonderful

Absolutely slow
I recently started with yoga and I thought this DVD could complement what I was learning at the trainings. I found it irritantingly slow, I should not have gotten yoga for ABSOLUTE beginners, but just beginners I guess.

A good help to get you going
Yoga is new to me and therefore I browsed Amazon, read the reviews and picked this DVD. It really has helped me get started. It does look a bit un-professional (the design of the dvd) but there is nothing unprofessional about the contents. A good buy. br /There is one thing that could have been done better. The video is set close to the sea and sometimes the sound of the waves make it hard to hear what the instructor is saying, specially in the beginning. br /Good job otherwise and I do recommend it.

Great Intro to yoga!!
I have never done yoga before but have always been interested. This is a perfect start and will suit people of all fitness levels. It is however only an introduction and will encourage you to explore more. 40min work out in all gentle warmup and cool down session. Mostly static, so you can easily do it at home.The presenter sets a nice atmosphere, she repeats little details like keeping the back straight,tightening the stomach muscles, this I found quiet helpful.

Great for Beginners
This is the first and only yoga workout I've tried so I have nothing to compare it to but I would definately recommend this to other 'absolute beginners'. Yes, it's a little bit cheap looking and has an amatuerish feel, dodgy music and seaside setting etc (felt a bit like watching daytime tv).. but the workout itself is divided into nice easy to learn sections which make you feel like you've actually achieved something at the end without feeling like you've done too much to get there. brThe instructor has just the right tone and guides you through the workout as if she knows exactly what you're thinking and doing... (I was spooked that everytime I held my breath she 'knew' I was doing it, as in all the right places she said "...and don't forget to breath properly!" It was like she was in the room with me! brOverall, a very good video with just the right balance of stretching, strengthening and relaxing. It's given me a taste for more and I think maybe a few more goes and I might be ready to move onto something a bit more advanced. As the title suggests, recommended for absolute beginners only. It's pretty basic stuff but done very well!
