Manufacturer's Description
The object of Tetris Worlds is to position falling shapes, called Tetraminoes, across the bottom of a rectangular pit. Tetraminoes are shapes created from 4 blocks joined together into 7 different patterns. The Tetraminoes must be rotated as they fall and positioned across the bottom leaving no open spaces. When an entire horizontal line fills with blocks, the line clears from the screen. If lines are not completely filled with blocks, they will not clear from the screen, and the Tetraminoes will continue to stack up higher and higher. If the stack of Tetraminoes reaches the top, the game is over!

Tetris Worlds places the player in a universe where Tetris is played in different ways on different planets. The inhabitants of these worlds (Minos) interact with the player and with each other. Test your Tetris skills in the most popular versions of Tetris, or the latest cutting-edge variations, such as Gadget Tetris and Bombtris.

was good at first but i got bored of it after a week.
I played TETRIS DX for about 2 years (seriously) because of the fact i could compete aganist my sister. but when i brought and played tetris worlds i was mortified! it was the worst thing i have ever brought. no scoring or no top 5 list makes this game pointless. games are supposed to get better as the years pass- not worst!!! if you've got tetris dx, my advice is to carrying on it. if you haven't got tetris dx, buy tetris dx!

Disgrace
Disgrace... this game should not be called Tetris. Although the newly added twists appear at first contact to have addictive potential, the no-score no-memory aspect leaves a lot to be desired and has doomed this cartridge (at least my cartridge) to be a playground for spiders.

WARNING Bad game
This game is completely diobolical. Basically there is no scoring, no indication of how many lines you've clear and the game auto maticaly stops at level 15! Buy tetris dx instead far better because there is a score

tetris without scoring etc
I was ready looking forward to this game.But I could not believe how it turned out.No scoring or saving, so each time you turn it on you have to reset the options in game, then when you play their is no scoring etc, I even took it back to shop for refund, BUY TETRIS DELUXE for GB this is Ten times better.Why no saving or scoring are the trying to save money!

A must have for Tetris Fans
I was lucky enough to get hold of this prior to it's UK release on a recent visit to America, and it was money well spent!
Tetris Worlds has a number of clever variations on the basic game, plus the opportunity for head to head play with another Advance via a link cable.
The game is much enhanced by the incredible graphics in the background, which include undersea, fire and air based settings amongst others in beautiful detail, and by the quirky little cube like character who puts in regular appearances to approve or (in my case!) disapprove of your performance.
I must get more practice, and will enjoy every minute of it!
