One of the best Ed Wood Movies
In my humble opinion, this is one of the best movies Ed Wood ever made. Yes, it is low budget and full of the flaws characteristic of all his films, but all it lacks in technical fluency is more than made up for by the films incredibly, eerie and surreal ambience, and the presence of characters from the wierd and wonderful menagerie of Ed Wood spooks, such as the neolithic Tor Jonson and the icy cold-eyed Chriswell the seer. The film is full of bizarre, dreamlike sequences, which - due to their similarity to one of the trade marks of his work - bring the later David Lynch to mind. I definitely recommend this!
