This time around, however, the now thirteen-year old rapper also explores age and experience--appropriate themes like his burgeoning interest in the opposite sex and the difficulties of dealing with sudden superstardom. Luckily, Lil' Romeo retains the sense of innocence that made his debut so appealing, and on "Still Be There" assures the object of his affection that no matter what life throws his way, he will feel the same way about her. On other tracks, thediminutive hip-hopper makes a point of offering advice to his peers, advising them to work hard, obey their parents, and hold on to the joys of childhood. While quite clearly the work of a youngster, GAMETIME displays enough originality and verve to prove that Lil' Romeo is much more than merely a pawn in Master P's marketing game.
Lil' Romeo by now is really growing up. His rapping skills are really improving. His songs are getting better and better. I will review the songs on the album to see if it helps you to make up your mind.(Except Intro)
