More comedy than horror
I saw this recently on television. I spent more time laughing at how bad this film was. I wouldn't call it a low budget film - it was more like a NO budget film

Flesh Eaters by name only
This film really is in no way connected to the previous films. In many ways it's barely a zombie film (they're intelligent - talking and shooting guns). Make no mistake this is a poor films, however... br / br /If you're a zombie fan and you're really considering a film called Zombie Flesh Eaters 3, then your most likely buy this film regardless of reviews, I know I did. All I can say is find it as cheap as you can.

when we gonna get zombie 10 ??!!
Zombie 3 aka zombie 4..confused? is probably the worst of the three films, not that they are in any way connected. The 1st is a masterpiece, very suspensful with good gore fx and a fairly good story and direction from lucio fulci. The 2nd film was only partially directed by fulci as he fell ill whilst making it and it shows,it's still not too bad but a notch down on the top italian horrors of the period. Now this brings us to Zombie 3 which fulci had nothing to do completely and you can tell this was thrown to gether haphazardly..the make up fx are nowhere near as good, the gore ok at best and the acting atrocious..but hey no one said this stuff was gonna win oscars..lol br / br /If your back from the pub early on a sat night and want a mild divertion then this will prob do you and keep you moderately entertained but if you want the top italian horrors then this ain't it. Check out Zombie flesh eaters 1,cannibal ferox, cannibal holocaust, the beyond and even zombie holocaust for better movies.

Interesting only because of Jeff Stryker
This film shows some terrible acting and strange zombies all dressed in black rags. Its only interesting thing is the presence of porn star Jeff Stryker as the main character. When his heart is finally ripped out by a zombie, his face stays cute until his last moment alive. br /

PLEASE NO MORE
Italy had a time when they really exploited the zombie genre Zombie Flesh Eaters 3 is one of them. The responsibility of directing this zombie film was handed down to the man responsible for directing the worst parts of Zombie Flesh Eaters 2, Claudio Fragasso. This film's story is about some scientists that are living on the Phillipine islands trying to find a cure for cancer by using plants used in voodoo rituals. When a daughter of a voodoo priest dies and the scientists were not able to save her, the priest decides to open the third door to hell, zombies come out and kill most of the scientists except the two who run like crazy and still end up getting caught by the zombies. Only their little daughter runs away with the magical amulet that is capable of closing the gate of hell and stop the zombies. Flash forward to twenty years later and the little girl (now grown up) comes back to the island to find out what really happened to her parents. Of course zombie mayhem ensures. br / br /As you can see, at least this film had something that resembles an interesting story. Its not as pointless as Zombie Flesh Eaters 2. At least we get characters here who have a purpose, a past and a meaning for being here. Claudio Fragasso - credited here as Clyde Anderson because he didn't want his credibility as a film maker to be tarnished for making b-movies, was handed the task for directing this film. Now considering the mess that Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 turned out to be, you would think that Fragasso would use this opportunity to make a better zombie film. Improve on the mistakes from the previous film, and he did. br / br /He wrote something that resembles a decent story. The whole thing with the voodoo priest and the little girl with the amulet and the book of the dead is all corny, but a least we get something of a story. Then they decide to quicken the pace of the film and you will notice the camera does move faster and so does the action. The opening sequence alone, in which the voodoo priest opens the third door to hell was quite good for a b-movie like this one and a slight step up from the previous Zombie Flesh Eaters 2. br / br /The problem is that Fragasso solved some of the problems that plagued the previous film, but he also created new ones. The first thing that comes into my head is the look of the zombies. Here, the zombies are all wearing dark robes for some reason. Fragasso said that when we was scouting local Phillipine cemeteries he noticed that all the dead were wrapped in similar garments. Therefore we get all the zombies wrapped in mummy like garments throughout the whole film. The zombie make up is non-existent. Its just black make up on the actors faces. On top of that the zombies run and jump like they were practicing for the Olympics. In some scenes they fast as hell and in others they walk slow. There is no consistency with the zombies behavior. br / br /But aside from all those minor mishaps this film was slightly more entertaining than Zombie Flesh Eaters 2. But, yet again, as you watch this film you detect a level of ho-hum about everything. No real dedication was put into making this film special. They just made a zombie film for the simple fact that they wanted to make money and nothing else. There's no love for the genre involved here. Fragasso himself was ashamed to be involved in the genre and that's just wrong. If your a horror director then be proud of it (I would be). Anyway Zombie Flesh Eaters 3 was a step up from the previous film, but its still a uninspired film. br / br /Thank you for reading my review.
