When I first bought this film I expected the same relentless QUALITY kung-fu action as in other Carter Wong films, like Born Invincible(my favourite Carter Wong release). However, I was very dissapointed as the moves were nowhere near as spectacular, and the coreography was very average(the camera angle keeps changing so you don't get to see clean moves). The only saving grace of this film is Carter Wong himself, the snapshots of his face as he exerts his physical strength are quite entertaining. However his persona conveys the true spirit of kung-fu - the 'succeed or die trying' attitude. Apart from that, you get what you expect of any old-school kung-fu classic - bad music, bad(but not overly bad) dubbing, flying people, etc. To be enjoyed with a warm cup of tea on a cold winter night, better than sleeping pills halfway through second viewing(if you manage to reach that stage).
