Amazing
After leaving his Indie Label, Tech N9ne aka Aaron D. Yates started up his own record company titled Strange Music. First release to come out of the company - Absolute Power.pWith the disappointment of the lack of promotion and distribution his previous album got, Anghellic, Tech N9ne wanted to give the fans something different, something that will satisfy us... And that was a free bonus DVD which includes 90 minutes of footage including; live performances of songs from Anghellic, the making of the artwork for Anghellic and the making of the video for the lead single of this album 'Slacker'. The DVD deserves a review for itself, five star stuff, lets look at the actual album.pThe album starts with the intro which is a interview about the album, which is on the dvd. Tech N9ne describes the album and how different it is to his previous albums. Opening track is "Industry is Punks". This track puts the music industry in the shade, a aggressive track to open a diverse album. Other tracks have a fast pace flow such as "Here Comes Tecca Nina" and "Absolute Power". However, other tracks have a smoother flow with some tracks with deep lyrics that have a "twist" at the end. Also included in the album is "Yada Yada Yada", a direct diss track to his former producer and best-mate Don Juan.pGuest appearances on the album include Big Krizz Kaliko (another artist signed to Strange Music), Young Gunz and D12 (minus Eminem).pAlbum is definetly a 5 star album, with every track worth a listen. Although some do get tiring after a short period of time, the album itself does not get tiring! Included on the DVD are 7 additional tracks, which is good value for the price of the album. Tech N9ne is definetly an artist about to blow up, after selling 300,000 units independently, Tech N9ne will be looking for further success with his upcoming album and DVD due out this summer!

Absoloutely Brilliant
Parting with long time producer Don Juan was a worry for all Tech N9ne fans, (just peep the beats on Anghellic) but Tech shows he can more than cope when given an even wider array of beats on Absolute Power, his fourth album. the stand out tracks are Industry is Punks, which is a middle finger up at the entire record industry, and just to prove he wasn't all talk. Tech allows you to download his album off his website for free, as he's one of these rare artists who actually loves music more than money. and what's more, he's a damn site more talented than most other artists out there. His rhyme structure is just crazy on tracks such as the aforementioned Industry is Punks, and Imma Tell shows Tech in fine form and a return to his backwards flow (literally!). The anthemic "I'm A Playa" shows Tech in fine form. brThis album is much more accessible than previous Tech albums, tracks such as "Here Come Tecca Nina" and "Keep On Keepin On" are sure to capture a wider audience, but don't worry, that doesn't mean Tech has gone soft! "Slither" shows a twist on the typical sexually-orientated hip hop track, for the girls in this are vampires! "T9X" showcases Tech's flow slowed dramatically to a drawl as he weaves through the effects of drugs on him, and "Worst Enemy" is just pure hip hop genius. For the entirity of the track i thought it was a diss record at Don Juan (the diss track is in fact "Yada Yada Yada") but it ends up being a record about his genitals! it really is creative genius and the harsh truth at it's very best!brI urge you to buy this or else you will be missing out on far and away the best album of 2002

KC back up in here
This Cd is one of a kind a must get! Mixes Rap with the familiar Rock background! Tech comes with the wiQed rhymes and the beats to match, Tech does not have a lot of guest appearances on this album, but that's because he's found his place in the rap game. My favourite songs are: Here comes tecca nina, Slacker Keep on keep on (TuPac intro). all the tracks deal with all the issues in Tech's life, there are 20 tracks in all:br1. Introbr2. Industry is punksbr3. Here comes tecca ninabr4. I'mma-tellbr5. Slackerbr6. Keep on keep onbr7. Gunz will bustbr8. Biancas and beatricesbr9. Diamond joesbr10. Slitherbr11. Disturbancebr12. Tarpped in a psychos bodybr13. T9xbr14. She devilbr15. Worst ebemybr16. Signing offbr17. Absolute powerbr18. Yada yada yadabr19. Constantly dirtybr20. Ima playabrEven though Tech has been around 4 along time now, this doesn't mean he cant deliver what u want to hear! those familiar with Anghellic, have to know in this album Tech has changed his Sinister deep dark qualities. Tech is definitely a rising name in the Rap game, be sure to watch out for him.
