One of the best uses for a disc...
I myself am an angler. Now, when the rivers are flooded or you were on the booze the night before and oversleep. Whatever the excuse that you didn't go fishing then there is a superb backup...Fish Sim 2. br / br /You fish anywhere in the world at the comfort of your PC. Using thousands of varieties of bait, tackle and dates the differences are endless and the sim is realistically fun. br / br /However, there is one feature that pushes this sim way out there...be able to create your own venues, baits and tackle. The detail is spot on. Creating a river venue, you decide on the speed and direction of the flow in an approx 5x5 pixel of the screen. br / br /If thats not all then there is the website which offers free downloads and updates which you don't really get elsewhere with other products you buy. There is also a forum where the help on there, particulary for newbies, is 5 star. br / br /However, the best thing for the reader of these comments to is this:- If you're pondering about it, just buy it and I am certain you will be happy with what this fish sim is trying to achieve.

A game that holds it's title...
Finding an advert for fishsim 2 in the Improve Your Coarse Fishing magazine i was only to keen to buy it, games like Matt Hayes' Fishing, Hook It, Trophy Rivers and others that all want to be the 'ultimate fishing simulator' which all fail miserably I was praying for a product that really take the crown.brWhen i finally got this for a birthday present i couldn't wait to install it and my 1st thoughts where *Wow! this actually is the ultimate fishing simulator.*brPracticaly everything about this game is perfect graphics, sounds, gameplay and an infinite lifespan means that no angler should be without it.brOn the year of this review (2004) there has been so much interest in the game that there is over 800 species, 1000 venues (places to fish) and probably over 1000 bits of tackle and baits.brFor £18 what more could you want???brBUY NOW

A Truly amazing product
Fish Sim 2 is truly the most realistic angling simulation for the PC ever. It allows you to fish virtually anywhere in the world from the comfort of your PC. Whether you want to fish Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales,France, or even Australia or America, for Salmon, Trout, Pike,Carp,, Perch, catfish or virtually anything else YOU CAN!! pFish anytime of the day, no matter the time , or the weather!!pOver 80 venues, and 500 pegs from all over the world, enogh to keep you fishing one peg everyday for a year, and still have over 100 left!!brFantastic product, hours of fun.
