Beautiful Song, Beautiful Voice, Beautiful Comeback!Christina struck me as being untalented. When I fiest heard Genie In A Bottle (her debut single) I was unimpressed; it took me about 5 years to appreciate the song. I thought her Lady Marmalade song was stupid, despite its massive popularity all over the world. When Dirrty came out, I thought she was desparate; I looked upon her and thought she is a girl with absolutely no vocal talent, but because she can look sexy in a wrestling ring parading in a bikini, she gets a chart topper.brBeautiful, most definitely displays a completely different side to the girl. Not only does it show incredible vocal talent (this shows she has a much better voice than Britney despite being less successful), but the song is about a very good topic; people should be accepted in society regardless of who they are. The video helps to reflect on this even more. Definitely her greatest song.

The title says it allI am not usually a fan of the sexy but stupidly over sized haired barbie doll (known to many as miss aguilera), my typical music tastes are the likes of marilyn manson. However after listening to this song it struck a cord somewhere and so she has got me as a fan.The song itself has a sad baseline throughout and she also makes good use of her vocal talents, a powerful song and i am ashamed to admit but i like it!

beautiful record from a beautiful artistSay what you will about this litle minx of pop, but Christina Aguilera has produced one of the best ballads for ages.pWith maturity, her clothes on(!) and a harmonious voice, Beautiful is a surefire bet for the number one spot. The line "i am beautiful, no matter what they say, words can't bring me down" could easily reference those who cut her down in the press.pWhilst at first glance, the song is about self empowerment, and believing in your own voice, on another level it could be an answer to those who do bring her down with their words. The song opens with words "don't look at me", as if she is ashamed to be looked at and be judged.pWhilst her image is very "in your face" and screams "look at me", beneath it all she is a vulnerable teenage girl who really is affected by the things around her. The video confirms this, taking an anorexic girl, a skinny boy trying to be muscley, a drag queen, a gay male couple, a punk and a girl with curly hair and braces, all of which are singled out as different to the "norm", whatever that means. They are beautiful, "no matter what they say". She feels like she is in the minority. Its as if she is saying "Dont judge us. just because we are different, does not mean that we are not beautiful."pWith this simple yet highly effective lyrically sound song, Christina comes back down to earth from the dizzy heights of Moulin Rouge and Dirrty to what she does best.
