my ex-wife 'persuaded' me to buy one of these & for once the nagging was worth putting up with

I've never used a pepper mill that works so well, it produces masses of pepper, easily ground to your choice of fine/coarse-ness, a brilliant piece of kit

The Best Pepper Mill On The Third Planet From The Sun
this is my second William Bounds pepper mill, the first, a 25 year old wooden one, succumbed to being bounced off a wall during some very rough teenage horseplay, definitely NOT the manufacturer's fault!

I couldn't find another locally, so I tried a couple of other well known brands of mill & they were absolutely useless, aching wrists for a paltry sprinkling of pepper ... cue a Google search & up popped this model

it's sturdy, a good solid weight & easy to grip, it's a size that means you don't have to refill too often, it looks absolutely gorgeous! & best of all, it does what it's meant to do with absolute ease & minimal effort

highly recommended



PS they all have 'made on the third planet from the sun' imprinted into their adjustable metal collars, a nice touch

Fell apart...
Having spent many years on a quest to find a pepper mill that works I chanced upon this one... I thought a lifetime guarantee sounded good. Unfortunately, I didn't realise that its lifetime would be less than a week - it fell apart. The inside has come loose so it doesn't grind anything and it is now in the back of the cupboard... I e-mailed the manufacturers to find out about the lifetime guarantee and have heard nothing...

This is the first review have felt compelled to write as I feel I can happily recommend this Pepper Mill to others. It not only looks stylish it is nice to handle, being a good weight and comfortable to use. It is so easy to change between Fine, Medium and Course and the resulting pepper comes out swiftly and smoothly, the peppercorns do not jam up the mechanism as others I have used before have. Lastly the brushed stainless steel does not show fingerprints.
