Amazon.co.uk ReviewWhen Big Brovaz stormed into the charts with the title track from their slick, radio-friendly debut,
Nu Flow they were hailed as the UK's answer to their equally polished and funky "dirty south" counterparts. Except, as some confused critics pointed out, surely these guys (and girls) are a little more Atlanta than Lewisham? With one of the key members (J Rock) originating from the other side of the pond, perhaps it's not too surprising that there's a distinctly mid-Atlantic flavour to much of
Nu Flow, and, after all, the majority of tracks here emulate the kind of R&B pop that dominates the US charts. Sure, there's nothing wrong with that--if you've got the skills and the songs to pull it off, that is. Sadly, Big Brovaz do not. Just watch those Outkast comparisons fade away with tracks such as the cringe-inducing ballad to single motherhood "Little Mama", complete with a distinct Ali G rapping style. And just check out some of the lyrics to "Baby Boy" ("keep doing what you do / I feel your whole aura"). There are some tracks that show promise, "Summertime" stands out with its funky Latin laced samples and "Gotta Get" has a great chorus that proves Big Brovaz deserve at least one more slot in the charts. Unfortunately, though, nothing on
Nu Flow ever lives up to the promise of its title track. --

"Nu Flow"This album is an under-rated classic! Every song is brilliant and it includes the legendary singles "Baby Boy", "Favourite Things", "It Ain't What You Do" "OK" & "Nu Flow"! Would give more than 5 stars, def check this album out! It's a classic

Could have been so much betterWhen a band brings out two singles I like, I get the CD. In most cases this works but it doesn't with Big Brovaz. The singles "Nu Flow", "OK" and "Baby Boy" were amazing songs but the rest of the album....isn't. Although a few other tracks are great RnB tracks like "Gotta Get" and "Summertime" but other tracks you just skip cause they sound horrible. The guys definately have to work on their raps and the girls have to learn how to sing in tune. I think Big Brovaz are very promising and they will improve but you might want to skip this one. Unless you loved all those singles that is.

A bit Boring, but some good tracksThe beginning and end of this album are very good but in the middle is complete crap. The only songs I liked were Nu Flow, Baby Boy, Ok and I aint What You Do (all songs that they have released as singles!) Sometimes the chorus' can be quite catchy but the rest is SO BORING! I will definetel not be buying any more Big Brovaz music until they start making their music a LOT better. Before I got this album I liked them Now I don't. So if you don't own this album and like The Big Brovaz then DON'T BUY THIS ALBUM ** TWO STARS **

THIS IS NOT GOOD AT ALL!!!THIS IS NOT HIP HOP! This is watered-down, wannabe-US, pop tunes for 13 year old girls. To call this Hip Hop is an insult to the genre!
The singing is passable but the rappin is terrible! This doesn't represent UK Hip Hop at all!
If you want real UK ish then I'd suggest checkin Jehst, Klashnekoff, Universal Soldiers, Yungun or Taskforce.
BUY THIS IF YOU LOVE N-SYNC!!!
