A must for any music fanI cannot stress how much you need this CD.
br /
br /The album kicks off with an all-time classic and one of the late, great John Peel's favourites - 'Babylon's Burning'. It's a classic, and it's only the tip of the musically genius iceberg
br /
br /You are then hit with a barrage of energized punk anthems ('You're Just A', 'Criminal Mind', 'Out of Order', 'Staring at the Rude Boys', 'Society'), off-beat brilliance ('Jah War', 'Love in Vain') and unforgettable and unexpectable gems such as 'Dope for Guns', 'Secret Soldier' and 'Savage Circle' - the song that single-handedly created the Red Hot Chili Peppers
br /
br /There are one or two duds that may get skipped ('Something that I Said', 'West One Shine on me') but most album has this problem.
br /
br /The double album is brilliant value for money, and if you don't already own the material you will find it very hard to remove from your CD player, be you a punk fan or otherwise.

The best LP from this generationThe Ruts were by far the best of either the first or second wave of punk acts. Coming from suburban Hayes, Ruislip and South London, they had a grip on life in London that very few bands did.pTheir take on Punk and Reggae has never been bettered. Fox is a great guitarist, Ruffy Segs a great rhythm section, capable of playing reggae far better then most punk outfits. And Malcolm Owen? A gent, oozing with charisma.p'In a Rut' is the greatest song ever recorded. 'Babylon's Burning' and 'Staring at the Rude Boys' not far behind. Buy it.

The Most Under-rated Punk Band Ever!"It's a very small world in the middle of a crowd. The room gets dark when the music gets loud!"brBrilliant album showcasing the under-rated talents of Malcolm Owen Co.brFor any 'new' generation punks (under-20s?!) this is the group that must have inspired Rancid.brStaring at the Rude Boys, In a Rut, West One and not forgetting Babylon's Burning squeezed onto one disc with numerous other gems.brForget your Limp Bizkits Linkin Parks, buy this CD now!
