review by: MORS VINCIT OMNIA date: 2008-04-30 rating: Ronseal (tm) Ink cartridge.
Black.
Goes in my HP Deskjet 5650 (see HP Ink Compatibility Chart at top of Product Description page).
Excellent quality.
Not so hot economy/value. (£12 at the moment. I say 'worth' a tenner.)
What it says on the tin.
review by: Su B date: 2008-01-14 rating: buy the genuine HP not the refills To address the comments from the gentleman who said buy ghost (non HP) cartridges -
HP printers always check for authenticity of their cartridges
He stated that he got a 24 ml black cartridge - the company he recommended doesn't stock a 24 ml compatible black cartridge for this type
He also stated that the cartridge was cheaper - the product details are:
- High Yield Black 11mls £13.48
That's 11 mls not 24 mls.
That's £2.51 cheaper (without postage). Add the postage and it becomes more expensive than having the supersaver from amazon.
One question mate, do you work for the firm that you recommended?
One suggestion for buyers - always stick with HP cartridges for HP printers - then if anything goes wrong caused by the cartridge HP will cover it
review by: date: 2007-09-13 rating: Over priced HP Cartridges During the course of my work i have occasion to use many different HP printers. Untill recommended by a friend to www.advantage-online.co.uk i had little faith in the re-manufactured versions available at all sort s of prices. However i have been using advantage for about 6 months and have to say that the version they sell is excellent. Not the cheapest re-fill you can buy but the quality is excellent. I order today and always get the goods tomorrow, and i still save money

review by: date: 2006-02-13 rating: Re-fills / Re-manufactures aren't worth it. I've sort of 'researched' this. I've tried 3 or 4 different re-manufactured cartridges in this printer. They lasted a month on average (with one that died). Using HP originals they almost make 2 months (none have died). I've had the printer for 2 years now. As I've not found re-manufactures for much less than £8, that means in this case genuine HP cartridges are the way to go. Although I still object to the price. I've had success with re-manufactures elsewhere, and didn't notice any loss of quality. Finally, as another reviewer said, when the cartridge says it's run out of ink, there are still at least 50-100 pages left. You'll know it's run out when there are pale patches of text.
