Roy Acuff, Chet Atkins, The Carter Family, Vassar Clements, Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson and Merle Travis (to name but a few) came together with a bunch of hippies for a historic recording in Nashville, resulting in the double album "Will The Circle Be Unbroken". Almost 20 years later, a second volume was recorded with traditionalists like Johnny Cash, Levon Helm, Emmylou Harris, Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman. They only managed a single brilliant CD then but last year a third volume filled 2 equally brilliant CDs. This box set collects all three volumes on 5 CDs. A bonus DVD featuring 14 performances completes this amazing set. You will be hard pressed to find a better collection at a better price.
