Many people have not looked beyond Shania Twains dominance of Europe - but if they had they would be raving about someone like Chely Wright.
The great thing about this compilation is that it features tracks from Chely Wrights deleted album 'Woman In The Moon' and from her other earlier album for Polydor 'Right In The Middle Of It' so if you are having trouble in locating the early CDs - you are at least compensated for it to a degree that at least half of the tracks off of this compilation are featured here.
But to me the 'ballads/New County anthems'that feature on this CD are what makes it a 'stand out' album to purchase - from the 'Single White Female' and 'Never Love You Enough' CDs
The beauty of 'It Was' and 'She Went Out For Cigarettes' are what makes the music business an easier beast to handle. Their approach to deliver the listener a few golden nuggets so that the listener comes back wanting more time and time again.
Then there is the Pop anthems of 'Shut Up And Drive' and 'Jezebel' if only MCA in the UK had the authority to have released these to 'radio play' status...
If you are an open minded listener of music - you will appreciate the greatness of this slice of Country Pie....
