CANADA'S ADOPTED BAND
IT ALL STARTED IN TORONTO WHEN ATTIC RECORDS TOOK A CHANCE ON A GREAT BAND FROM ENGLAND. HERE ARE THEIR 1ST TWO ALBUMS ONLY RELEASED IN CANADA BEFORE THEIR BIG CAPITAL RECORD DEAL. THESE SONGS SHOW HOW GREAT THIS BAND REALLY WAS. I SAW THEM AT THE DIAMOND CLUB IN TORONTO WITH MAYBE 300 OTHER'S. MAN THEY BLEW ME AWAY. KATRINA'S VOICE IS STRONG, RICH, AND FULL. KIMBERLEY REW GUITAR WOUNDERFUL, ALEX COOPER'S DRUMMING PERFECT.THE PACKAGING DOES THE BAND JUSTICE GREAT NOTES PLUS CD OF THEM LIVE. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS COLLECTION YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED. br / br /james h dowbiggin br /toronto canada

The DVD on its own is worth the price
The bonus DVD with this CD is excellent, conveying all the raw excitement this band showed in those days before they became too poppy. br /Whilst the film quality is far from ideal, it is still eminently watchable and reminds us what a lively bunch they were in the early days. br /Highly recommended !

Rock'n'roll with Joy
This is how the band sounded at their best, when they still were a pure rock band. As it is written at the back cover: "This is guitar driven RB rock'n'roll. PLAY LOUD." br /The bonus live-dvd is by itself worth the money. If you can watch this whithout digging, you're probably already dead. br /This is my best music buy for a long time.

Pure nostalgia
This is a brilliant album and a must for all Katrina And The Waves fans. The sleevenotes are absolutely wonderful and extremely explicit and rather hilarious.pThe dvd itself is superb and catches up with all the nostalgia and fun of the eighties! Every member of the band looks as if they're really enjoying themselves, and it 'rubs off' on the viewer! Some great camera shots in there too.
