Great fun
Great gift to give. Doesn't cost much but has plenty of appeal. Looney Tunes is still a firm favourite

Great restoration work, menu could be better.
The cartoons on this are nicely restored, they've done a great job. A few digital artifacts perhaps but that's nitpicking. Wonderful compared with the unrestored cartoons I have on DVD.pThe main bother for me is that there's no way of going directly to a specific cartoon, you have to 'play all' and skip forward.pThis is not a review of the content - if you're buying this DVD or any of it's companions, you're likely to be familiar with the content already. There's some wonderful old cartoons on it I remember from my childhood.

If you bought the Golden Region 1 collection STEER CLEAR
Why only 4 stars? Because this and the other 3 in the set have NO contents list on the outside of the sealed boxes. I bought this on impulse in a shop and found it to be IDENTICAL to disc 3 of the region 1 "Golden Collection" brought out in the USA late last year. Different packing (4 proper cases) Titles that conform to the disc titles of the collection, but IDENTICAL CONTENT. Check out the reviews on the .com American site....brIf you MUST have region 2 then buy this and its three fellows. The cartoons and extras are superb in quality and the content is excellent although inevitably opinion is going to vary as to what is the best...and some folks favourites aren't on these four discs.("What's Opera Doc?" and "One Froggy Evening" aren't!)brIf (like me) you are a serious enough cartoon collector to buy and be able to play region 1 discs (Disney aren't gonna release their Treasury series on R2 NO SIR!) then, like me, you will probably have the Golden Collection already so BEWARE.
