br /Qutie fast action, I think for younger children the older Spider-man series is better but for older children and adults this is great!
It has Kathy Griffin as a supervillain in two episodes. Kathy Griffin!! Come on! And Rob Zombie! And it looks like Reboot!!

br /No. Take it away please.
This is the best animated superhero series I've ever seen- real shame a 2nd series wasn't made- can't understand these reviews with 1 or 2 stars- are these guys reviewing a different dvd?
This is the 3rd Spiderman - The animated series Ive purchased with no sound! The picture quality is great but their is no sound at all!!
br /Its not my DVD player or TV as I always tried other DVDs at the same time which work fine, but these ones seem to have no sound.
br /My son is spiderman crazy but so far I've been unable to get him a DVD with audio. Has anyone else had same problem or have I just been really unlucky? Ive given up now.
If you are looking for the 1960's animated spider man then this is not it. What we have here is a re-imagined spiderman story, in the same way that Smallville is a re-imagining of the superman story. So everyone is now at university in their late teens early twenties and walk around carrying coffee (seriously there are a lot of gratuitous coffee scenes).

br /The cell shading is cool, if just a little dated in modern CGI terms and the stories move at a pace. One problem is with the audio on the DVD which really annoying defaults to dts rather than dolby; meaning it does not work until changed and on my DVD player I have to do this every time.

br /All in all an enjoyable watch if let down a little poor DVD menu and odd defaults.
