And that's fantastic! Too many DVDs contain utterly pointless backstage footage, interviews and general tedium that can stand to be watched once, max. It's a complete waste of time. It's even worse when great DVDs are ruined by splicing this rubbish into the concert (see new DVDs by Black Crowes and Type O Negative and older ones by Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Ozzy and Sebastian Bach).

br /Here, as with Montreux 2005, the concert is awesome and the DVD is uncluttered with unnecessary, boring nonsense.
Although Lacking in extras of any kind this DVD is worth having for the concert alone. pFeaturing a number of the songs from the Trash album ( This was the tour for that album ) such as Poison, House of Fire, Bed of Nails and Trash. The concert also features some old classics such as Billion Dollar Babies, Muscle of Love and Under My wheels.pThe concert kicks off with Trash and the first section showcases must of the new songs and some old ones all delivered as straight up rock and roll. Desperado is a particular highlight. After that Alice takes us into the nightmare section featuring songs such as Welcome to My Nightmare, Only Women Bleed, Gutter Cat and Ballad of Dwight Fry. This is the theatrical part of the show featuring monsters, straight jackets and the gullotine.pAlice concludes the show with Poison, Spark in the Dark, Bed of Nails and some older songs including School's Out. All in all a great concert well worth owning despite the lack of extra's
The Trashes the world gig is astounding. Its Alice at his high octaine best. The band are tight and alices voice is great. The set list features alot of the (then latest album ) trash and the usual hits and the odd rarely played live track. brIts obvious alice and the band are enjoying it, feeding off the crowds energy. So 5 stars for the gig.brNow the dvd. this is a straight vid conversion. the picture is sharp enough and the sound is in 2.0 which is disapointing. No extras what so ever. It is another in a long line of poor dvd conversions of old vids. See uk edition of welcome to my nightmare, the terrible picture on prime cuts etc.brI do recomend this dvd, but simply because the gig is amazing. if you want extras galore you will be sorely dissapointed.
