Still The Freak In Her
Adina Howard's second official album (Welcome to Fantasy Island was shelved)."The Second Coming" comes 9 years after "Do U Wanna Ride" which scored her a few smash hits including the sexy worldwide hit "Freak Like Me".She still has her sexy style but she has matured somewhat i saw the video for the only single released "Nasty Grind" i knew the album was gonna be excellent and i wasnt wrong.p1.Outside (The Club) - It sounds a bit like 50 Cent's "In Da Club" is a good club hit which i heard once while i was out people actually knew the song so at least i know people have bought this should have been a single great song 10/10p2.Wanna Be - This song is great she brings the raw truth about how boi'z try n floss (Ya no how they stay hehe).It's a funny song as the beat is great could have been a single too 10/10p3.Don't Wait Up - It's a good song but it seems a bit dated its got a slight asian feel to it.It's about tellin her man dont wait up for her coz she aint comin home hehe great song 9/10p4.Crank It Up (Featuring Missy Elliott) - As a producer Missy is really coz because unlike the Neptunes et al she doesnt laden her own style on other peoples projects.This song is sexy and soulful but it sounds like it should have been in 94 instead of 04 but its a really cool song 10/10p5.What You Need - Again the beat has a slight asian feel to it couldn't really get into this song the lyrics are a bit boring 4/10p6.T-Shirt Panties (Featuring Jamie Foxx) - This song is very old it was from the selved "Welcome to Fantasy Island" but the song doesnt at all sound dated i love it even now it's soo damn sexy 10/10p7.Nasty Grind - The 1st and only single which i only saw the video once this was the song that made me buy the album.Adina vibes to a guitar strummed song about nobody doing it like her. Good baby makin' song 10/10p8.Buttnaked - The sexiest song she's ever done the beat is good like slight echo's which really sets the mood of the song.Adina is totally honest on this song "Your Body's Bangin',We Don't Need Protection Tonight".So as you can tell it's a babymakin song 10/10p9.It's Not Over (Featuring Ee-De) - Whoever he is he has a great voice it reminds me of Truth Hurt's duet with R.Kelly (The Truth).It's a great song couldn't get enough of this wen i 1st heard it 9/10p10.Let's Roll - It's not that good and i dont really listen to it 3/10p11.That Man - This let's the album down as well couldnt get into this either 4/10p12.Say What You Want - Not keen on this song either its not actually like bad maybe i need a few more listens but for now..3/10pBonusbr13.Missing You - This song is excellent the production is beautiful you kinda hope for this song not to end and it could have been a single if it wasnt a bonus track 10/10pTop 5br1.Nasty Grindbr2.Buttnakedbr3.It's Not Overbr4.Missing Youbr5.Outside (The Club)/Wanna BepVery much overlooked shes definatly underrated this time around but buy it if you liked her 1st album its a bit more soulful but still great.Oh yeah another thing this album should have a parental advisory sticker beacause of the content but its great :)
